How Moxi Laser Works
The Moxi Laser is a gentle, non-ablative fractionated laser that delivers energy to target water in cells. This process stimulates natural healing to correct sun damage, aging, and texture issues.
At Zona Med Spa, our Laser Technicians prefer Sciton’s Moxi to create micro-channels, promoting even tone and radiance without ablating the surface.
Our Laser Technicians customize each session to your skin’s needs, whether you’re beginning your skincare journey or maintaining results. This gentle treatment is a great fit for nearly everyone, including those with melasma.
Each Moxi laser treatment is tailored to you and includes numbing for comfort. This numbing ensures all you feel from the laser is mild heat. Most sessions take about an hour because the bulk of it is numbing prep.
Downtime is a couple days and results appear the following days. For most of our patents we recommended a couple sessions for consistently smooth skin.
Moxi Laser Cost
At Zona Med Spa, pricing is customized based on areas treated and depends on factors like your current skin condition and the approach we’ll need to take.
For a personalized plan, we recommend a consultation with our team to choose the best option for your skin goals and budget.
Pre & Post Care
To get the best Moxi laser results, follow these simple steps…
Before your appointment, avoid sun exposure and tanning for 4 weeks, skip irritants like Retin-A or acids for one week, stop antibiotics for 2 weeks, and be off Accutane for 6 months. No waxing for one week, wear SPF 30+, and notify us of cold sores for a prescription. Always consult with your primary doctor before making any changes.
After treatment, expect redness like a sunburn. You must avoid direct heat like sun, showers, saunas, or exercise while red. We will give you a cleanser, balm, and SPF to use. Mends (micro dots) may appear the first day, darken, and slough off a couple days following your treatment and it’s important to not pick at them. You can resume your skincare routine when no longer red.
Our estheticians will provide personalized tips to maintain your smooth, radiant results.
