Before your appointment avoid caffeine, anti-inflammatory medications, and blood thinners (like aspirin or ibuprofen) for about a week to minimize bruising. Always consult your doctor before making any changes.
After treatment, expect swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the chin or jowl area, which is normal and typically subsides within 2 weeks. Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours, excessive heat, or massaging the area for a few days to enable the injections to take effect.
