Nasolabial Folds, also known as “smile lines” or “laugh lines” are the two lines that that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. They are defined by facial structures that support the buccal fat pad and separate the cheeks from the upper lip. As we age and the skin becomes saggy and thinner, the folds tend to become more prominent. This is where filler comes in. Filler will quite literally fill in the wrinkles and folds while improving skin texture and flexibility. There are many dermal fillers are used to fill nasolabial folds and marionette lines. We will choose the right filler for you based on how deep your wrinkles are and your expected results.
The longevity of your results is largely dependent on the age of the patient, their metabolism, the amount of exercise they do regularly, and the normal blood flow to the face. For example, someone who is young with a fast metabolism and more blood flow to the face will most likely burn through filler quicker than someone who is older. In addition to this, filler in certain areas of the face tends to last longer than others. For examples, lip fillers only last about 6 months due to how much we move our mouths. However, filler in a less mobile area such as the tear troughs and cheeks last around a 1 year. Each filler product are uniquely formulated, therefore some products will last longer than others. A Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based filler, Versa is a remarkably homogeneous filler due to the advanced wet milling technology and proprietary formula. Results are instant and most clients will resume their normal activities after the procedure. The product can last up to 12 months.

The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Refyne and Defyne is designed to help support your natural expression—for real-life results that help maintain natural movement when you’re smiling, frowning and even puckering up. Results can last up to 12 months however product placed around the mouth tend to dissolve faster.
The unique Radiesse formula provides a robust lift in the areas below deep wrinkles and folds, diminishing their appearance for a more refreshed look. Radiesse is smooth and gel-filled, with tiny calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. When injected, it adds immediate volume and correction while the microspheres act as a scaffold, stimulating your body to produce its own, natural collagen. Since Radiesse is not a Hyaluronic Acid Filler, it cannot be dissolved. With that said, Radiesse injections should only be performed by an experienced and highly skilled injector.
