Micropeel 30 Solution contains 30% unbuffered, unneutralized glycolic acid to treat advanced signs of photoaging (pigmentation), wrinkles, dullness, and/or those who are wanting a brighter overall appearance. Great for all skin types, this peel is celebrated for its instant and radiant results. The Micropeel 30 provides a more superficial exfoliation, so there is little to no downtime. Tighter, smoother, brighter-looking skin after just 1 use, and even better results when paired with a Dermaplane! This light chemical peel is perfect if you feel like your skin needs a good exfoliation. Starting with a cleanse, followed by steam and extractions. High frequency is then used to kill any bacteria and stimulate blood flow. Once we begin the peel, a mild tingling and itchy sensation occurs that can last a few minutes. We do use a fan to minimize this sensation. At the end of the treatment, hydrating products and sunscreen will be applied and you will leave dewy and glowing!
Prior to receiving treatment make sure to tell your esthetician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have any allergies, prone to cold sores/fever blisters or using topical and/or oral prescription medications such as Tretinoin, Retin-A, Isotretinoin, Accutane, Differin, Tazorac, Avage, EpiDuo or Ziana.
After the treatment avoid any trauma to the skin for up to 2-5 days, such as bathing with very hot water, strenuous exercise, or retinols/acids. Avoid picking or scratching the treated skin to achieve your best results. Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds during the 14 days before and after your treatment. The daily use of sunscreen protection with a minimum of SPF 30 is highly recommended. Follow any post-treatment instructions given to you on the day of treatment.
