2020 Beauty Trends Recap

For both good and bad, there are many reasons 2020 has been memorable. Specifically within the beauty industry, trends come and go which is both amazing and alarming at the same time. To focus on the positives of this year, here are some 2020 beauty trends that gave our wallets a run for their money.

Fox Eye PDO Thread Lift

The first trend that made an all star appearance this year was the ‘Fox Eye PDO thread lift’. This procedure is the insertion of threads designed to pull a designated area up and back, in this case the eye area to create more of an almond eye shape. This trend is a great alternative for those who don’t want to commit to a full throttle face/eyelift but still want to partake in a procedure that will give a more youthful appearance. This method, although not permanent, gives a look make up can’t achieve.

Brow Lamination

Another popular trend that works for some is brow lamination. Though this concept may seem crazy, this trend has become extremely popular. The process of perming your eyebrows has been a hit in the beauty community for the purpose of reshaping and creating a fuller look. One downfall of this experience is that perming any hair on your body can create dryness and breakage no matter the area, but it’s great to try for creating a subtle change to your look.

Non-Surgical Nose Job

For those who don’t want to commit to a full nose job or don’t want to spend a lot of money up front, non-surgical nose jobs have been a big hit in 2020. This procedure is where filler is injected into the bridge of the nose bringing symmetry and evenness to the profile.This only lasts up to 6 months but is worth every penny for a temporary glimpse at what a rhinoplasty would look like if need be.
